Star Cinema's "For the First Time" lead actor Richard Gutierrez laughed off reports of a rivalry with actor Dingdong Dantes.
"Okay kami ni Dong walang problema sa isa't isa. Yung rivalry na kini-create ng media, sa TV lang 'yon. Pero kami ni Dong wala kaming personal na problema sa isa't isa," said Gutierrez.
The actor also thanked Dantes for taking the time to watch his movie "For The First Time," which is now on its fourth week.
Gutierrez said that it was director Joyce Bernal who told him that Dantes and actress Marian Rivera were interested in watching his film.
"I wanna thank him also for watching and he actually texted me na nagustuhan niya ang pelikula and I'm thankful," Gutierrez said.
On KC
Gutierrez who is now in cloud nine with the success of his debut movie with Star Cinema said that it's fine with him if his co-star KC Concepcion will do other projects with ABS-CBN's male stars like Piolo Pascual in the future.
"Well I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of guys who will want to work with KC in the future masarap ka trabaho si KC. And I'm sure lahat ng guys gusto siyang makatrabaho. It's okay with me. I think its also good for KC to work with other leading men so she will grow also as an artist," he said.
He said that what is important right now is the fact that he is enjoying The Company of kc.
