krstine reyes speak out to the issue about her ex
Cristine Reyes had finally put the ‘switching’ rumors to rest after signing a one-year contract with ABS-CBN last July 30. She is set to star in the next chapter of Your Song Presents, her own drama special, an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya, and another teleserye. But before she can resume with work, Cristine had the chance to speak on the negative issues hounding her. First, she denied that she had a serious talk with Heart Evangelista, who is said to be the new girl of Cristine’s ex boyfriend Dennis Trillo.
In connection with this, Annabelle Rama, Heart’s manager, was also said to have given a stern warning towards Cristine, which the latter strongly denied. “Hindi (ako tinawagan ni Annabelle). Si Jun (Lalin, publicist for Annabelle’s family). Pero naayos naman agad. After nga noon nagkita kami sa airport sa Cebu ni Tita Annabelle, nagbatian kami kasi wala namang problema. Tapos bigla na lang may lumabas na issue, e too late na kasi nga ayos na.”
Cristine further denied that she had an encounter with Kaye Abad, who was also said to be Dennis’s new apple of the eye. The actor, in a previous interview, insisted that Kaye is just a friend. “Hindi kaya. Hindi ko naman kilala personally si Kaye. Hindi ko pa siya nami-meet. Walang ganun. Nahihiya nga ako kasi balita ko naiirita na siya sa mga nagtatanong sa kanya, na nadadamay siya.” Cristine also said she doesn’t want to get involved with Dennis and the girl he is currently dating, Pauleen Luna. “Whatever ang kanila ni Dennis and Pauleen out na ako dun kasi wala na kami ni Dennis. Out na dapat ako diyan.”
The Eva Fonda star recently confirmed that her on-and-off relationship with Dennis just formally ended last May. Now that being single means having more time for work, Cristine said that she had closed her doors on a possible reconciliation with Dennis. “Two months ago lang kami talaga nag-break. Sure na talagang wala na kami. Paninindigan ko ‘to! Work muna.”
